Former manager not allowed to visit Schumacher: 'Why am I being punished?'

Willi Weber was Michael Schumacher's manager and confidant for many years, but now he won't have any contact with the Schumacher family at all. That is what Weber says according to Bild Weber in his autobiography, which is on sale from 27 August.
Weber and Schumacher were rarely separated in Formula 1, and that wasn't surprising. It was Weber who discovered Schumacher and guided him to the top of F1, and also helped find the means to do so. Together they won seven world titles, but now Weber never sees his former pupil again.

In an earlier interview with the German RTL, Weber already said he made a mistake. He would have seen Schumacher a few days before the incident, and when it became clear that something had happened, Weber did not go right away. "I was wrong. I should have gone straight away. I still regret that mistake.''
However, his book now reveals that he has also never had contact with Corinna or the rest of the Schumacher family since then. ''To this day no call or letter. I know today that she has removed me from her life. Why am I, to his wife, a worn-out tire that is no good anymore? Why am I not allowed to visit Michael? What am I being punished for'', said the former manager.
