Max Verstappen starts the Dutch Grand Prix as big favourite. It's the second home race in a row for the Dutchman, who states however that every team has to start from scratch here at Zandvoort.

A new circuit in Formula 1 always requires new things from drivers and teams. The drivers have to get to know the track, but the team also has to get to know the track in order to fine-tune the car. Verstappen believes that this means everyone is starting from scratch, and it remains to be seen who will perform well here.

Verstappen starts at zero

''I think everyone is starting pretty much from scratch. We don't have much information from the new circuit, so we have to wait and see. They have done a great job here. Not only by bringing the Grand Prix back to the Netherlands but also the circuit and the whole complex. It has been fixed up very nicely. After the first practice we will know better how to set the car up for the rest of the weekend'', says Verstappen according to De Telegraaf.

Overtaking on Sunday will be difficult, so Verstappen knows what he has to do on Saturday. ''So I'd better start at the front. But who knows, maybe we'll get a very surprising Sunday. What should happen then? Chaos! That can happen on new tracks, especially in the first lap. Then someone can brake for example. Generally, things like that happen more often at new tracks than at tracks we've driven on before,'' the Red Bull driver concludes.
