"Verstappen was superior at Zandvoort, he was toying with Hamilton"

Max Verstappen had a dream weekend at Zandvoort. Together with Red Bull Racing he proved dominant in his home race and didn't relinquish the lead since taking pole position.
"He was superior. He played with Hamilton, although of course, he had to perform at his best. But the combination of Max and the Red Bull suits this circuit, especially the old part of the track", says Kees van de Grint at RTL GP Slipstream.

According to the tyre expert, Lewis Hamilton didn't stand a chance for the victory, despite the fact that he kept the pressure on continuously. "The advantage Mercedes had on the other section did not outweigh the advantage Max had, gaining roughly two to three tenths there. That was always enough to keep control," he continued.
"Besides that, the guy didn't make a mistake, he drove in a superior way. Hamilton did his best, but it was not in the cards for him. Although he still made it exciting," said Van de Grint.
