Everyone in Formula 1 this season has been mainly focused on the duel between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. It has been a title fight everyone has been waiting for and finally the wait is over. Even other drivers, like Charles Leclerc, get asked about it.

In an extensive interview with corriere.it the Monegasque driver said that he gets along fine with both, but was formerly not such a fan of the little Verstappen.

"To be honest, I'm not allergic to Hamilton or Verstappen though. I can deal with both of them just fine. I disliked Max when we were younger and we fought each other in karts or little single-seaters, while Lewis was driving F1 by then. Now they're just two drivers I'd like to overtake with my own car."

Leclerc and Ferrari have fine season

Compared to last season, when the Italian team was struggling, this season has seen some great strides. Leclerc and teammate Carlos Sainz are performing well this year and the car has seen some significant improvement.

For now, Ferrari is in a fierce battle with McLaren for third place in the Constructors' Championship. The difference between the two teams is currently 11.5 points in favour of McLaren.
