Max Verstappen was denied points at the Hungarian Grand Prix before the summer break when Valtteri Bottas went on a torrid run to gain positions at the start. Could it happen again at Monza that Bottas will consciously or unconsciously do his British teammate a favour?

Bottas is basically Hamilton's wingman in the second half of the season. The Finn's chances of winning the sprint race are not that great either, with Toto Wolff hinting that team orders may follow at the end of the race. Bottas will let Hamilton past, so the number two in the world championship will take a point more.

Helmut Marko was asked by F1 journalist Adam Cooper about the scenario in which Bottas and Verstappen meet in a wheel-to-wheel fight and hit each other. The Red Bull Racing advisor's answer was, "I think he learned his lessons in Budapest, I don't think he will do it again!"
