Honda highly concentrated: 'We can't make any more mistakes now'

Honda is getting ready for the last few months in Formula 1. With an update, the Japanese have now really done everything to help Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing to a world title. Now no more mistakes can be made according to Toyoharu Tanabe.
These are exciting months for Honda. With Red Bull Racing and Verstappen, the Japanese are really competing for the world title again, and that might be for the last time. Honda will be leaving Formula 1 at the end of this year, handing over its current engines to Red Bull. So it is all or nothing for Honda.
Honda wants to remain faultless
''The last triple-header was eventful and generally positive, with two wins out of the three for Max, who has now retaken the lead in the Drivers’ championship,'' the Honda top executive said in the press release. Tanabe knows that a lot will be asked of the engine again in Sochi.
''The main requirements are good top speed, as well as excellent driveability out of the slow turns. Unfortunately, we did not pick up as many points as we would have wished for across both teams and so we hope we can see that situation change this weekend and that all four Honda drivers have a strong race in Russia. We are coming into the last third of the season and it will be important to maximise our performance and not make any mistakes,'' concludes Tanabe.
