Horner realistically: 'Incidents are part of the game'

Christian Horner is still delighted to have Max Verstappen in his Red Bull car. Horner understands that the title fight can get so heated to the point of crashes and arguments. He would never see Verstappen flinch.
Verstappen is extremely self-critical
After the first free practice session of the Russia GP, Horner joins the press conference, where he analyses Verstappen's form. De Telegraaf quotes the team boss: "We always analyse certain moments. Could something have been different or better? Max is always very open. He is extremely self-critical."
"That also has an impact on an opponent, who is aware that Max is going for it. Of course, sometimes you have to make a trade-off, but Max has shown that he can. Also this year."
Crashes not ruled out in future
Horner elaborates and continues about the crash between Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen in Monza. Tempers have calmed down and Horner can look at it realistically: "Max and Lewis are racers. We can't sit here and say, 'they're definitely not going to hit each other in the remaining eight races'."
"It's up to them in the car. They are competing for the most important trophy in motorsport. Then incidents are part of it."
