Drivers and teams keep themselves busy during cancelled FP3 in Russia
- GPblog.com
The third free practice session in Sochi will not take place due to heavy rain. Instead, race director Michael Masi hopes the opportunity to qualify will arise. Meanwhile, drivers and teams are trying to find ways to pass the time as they wait for news of qualifying.
Meanwhile, the FIA has completely changed the schedule for Saturday, scrapping the second race of Formula 3. The Formula 2 race will start 45 minutes after qualifying, unless the heavy rain continues.
While drivers and teams wait for qualifying, they find other ways to kill time. Much of this of course is immediately found on social media, where the pictures and videos of teams are flooding in.
