In 15 GP weekends, Russell and Gasly remain unbeaten. Max Verstappen has been faster than his teammate 13 times. In Imola, Verstappen lost out to Perez and now Perez drove a faster time at the Sochi circuit because the Dutchman only completed one lap.

Pierre Gasly and George Russell, meanwhile, are still flawless. The drivers of AlphaTauri and Williams have yet to be defeated by their teammate in qualifying in 2021.

Lewis Hamilton beat Valtteri Bottas again to make it 11-4. Kimi Raikkonen, Carlos Sainz and Lance Stroll are other drivers behind, but in Russia, they managed to make up some ground on their teammates. They have seven qualifying sessions left to try and make up ground.
