Hamilton not concerned about engine: "I don't give it any energy"

As a result of using his fourth combustion engine of the season in Turkey, Lewis Hamilton received a grid penalty of ten places. Furthermore, according to Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff, the need for a fifth combustion engine has not been ruled out. Hamilton himself doesn't seem to be worried about anything.
Hamilton loses championship lead
In Turkey, Hamilton started from 11th on the grid due to his grid penalty but eventually managed to work his way up to fifth. With Max Verstappen finishing second, the Briton lost the lead in the championship. The Dutchman now has a six-point lead over the Mercedes driver.
Due to the reliability problems with the Mercedes engine, the team thinks it cannot be ruled out that Hamilton will be penalised again in the six remaining races. Team-mate Valtteri Bottas has already had his fifth engine.
Hamilton not worried
However, the seven-time world champion himself is not worried about a possible additional grid penalty. "I don't really give it any energy," Hamilton said at F1i.com. "It's not my job to worry about those things, so I'll let the guys focus on that and worry about that."
According to Hamilton, his engine is in good shape. "My first engine has lasted, I think, six races. We still have engine two, and I think engine three is also still there, as far as I know. Hopefully, I won't have to use a fifth engine, but I can't predict what's in store for me."
