Formula 1 is intervening after the remarkable incident between Megan Thee Stallion and Martin Brundle prior to the United States Grand Prix. Bodyguards are no longer welcome on the grid.

Safe F1 paddock

Before every Grand Prix, Brundle walks the starting grid and does interviews with different people. He does this with drivers and people from the team, but also with the famous people who walk over the paddock. This turned out to be a lot harder in the case of the rapper MTS. Brundle was pushed aside by the bodyguards and could forget an interview.

When Brundle said on Twitter after the race weekend that these kind of people should learn some manners when they come to F1, five million people saw it. The internet exploded and so F1 had to take action. According to Motorsport.com from now on there will be no more bodyguards welcome from stars, because the environment in the paddock is safe enough.
