Sky Sports: Decision Verstappen expected earlier than verdict on Hamilton
- GPblog.com
Everyone is waiting anxiously for the decisions of the stewards. They have to decide if Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will get a penalty or not. The decision was expected before the second free practice, but was postponed. Sky Sports now seems to have more information about when the verdict will be announced.
According to information from the British television channel, the information of the Verstappen case will probably be released around 4:30 pm and 4:45pm Simon Lazenby, journalist for Sky Sports, says that the decision about Hamiltons illegal DRS could take longer.
Hamilton drove with a different rear wing in the second free practice session of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The wing he drove with on Saturday was still present at the FIA. Hamilton was obliged to drive with the same specifications due to the parc fermé rules. He therefore drove again with an opening that was too wide, which meant he did not use DRS in the final practice session.
