Sergio Perez finished fourth in the sprint race and falls just outside the points. The Mexican was unable to overtake Carlos Sainz's Ferrari, but tomorrow's race will really count.

"It was quite difficult. When Max overtook him, I thought I would be able to pass easily, but it was still a bit harder than expected. Especially when the tyres got hotter, it just became a bit more difficult," Perez told Jack Plooij for the Ziggo Sport camera.

Will it be a totally different race tomorrow with a different strategy? "Yes, tomorrow is a different race. It's the race that really counts. There is a lot to play for," the Mexican continued.

Perez expects fast Hamilton in the race

Lewis Hamilton will start from P10 tomorrow after suffering a five-place grid penalty due to changing his combustion engine. In the sprint race, the Briton was extremely fast and managed to drive from P20 to P5. Perez expects a battle with the Mercedes driver tomorrow. "He will come at some point, he was extremely fast today. That's no surprise."
