Horner stands up for Verstappen: "They were all incidents"

Christian Horner and Toto Wolff are in the middle of a battle that has mainly taken place off the track in the last week. On Friday the team bosses were pitted against each other in the press conference. The Red Bull team boss had more to say about his rivals at Mercedes after the first two free practices.
Unlike the interviewers at Sky Sports, Horner found the press conference with Wolff anything but explosive. "I think the press conference was reasonably harmonious. There was not too much mudslinging, but it's a competition," said the Red Bull team boss, adding that there was no animosity between them.
Horner defends Verstappen
Damon Hill is not hiding his opinion, telling Horner that he thought Verstappen's defensive action was over the limit. Horner disagrees and compares the incident to other drivers' behaviour at the start. "I don't think it is. Was Bottas over the limit on the first? Do you think Carlos Sainz was over the limit?"
He continued: "They were all incidents and similar things happened and I think there is so much scrutiny because it's the two world championship protagonists. I think that Max has clearly demonstrated that you can pass around the outside," Horner said.
