Sainz storms in front at the start of the Russian Grand Prix
- GPblog.com
It was a hectic start to the Russian Grand Prix as Carlos Sainz stormed into the lead of the race, whilst the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton made a somewhat slow start, dropping to seventh.
Sainz was initially slow off the line but picked up a slipstream off Lando Norris and stormed into the lead of the race. Lance Stroll took advantage of any gaps at the front, braking late and was up to fourth.
