Verstappen started his racing career at the age of four in karts and drove his first Formula 1 season with Toro Rosso at the age of 17. In doing so, he made F1 history. Just over a year later, he managed to win his first F1 race on the 15th of May 2016 in Barcelona when he was 18 years old.

After maturing in the sport for quite a few years, he managed to win his first title in 2021. Verstappen had an unparalleled title fight with Lewis Hamilton that year, eventually taking the title in the final race in Abu Dhabi.
The following year, in 2022, Max Verstappen won his second world title and also the World Championship title for Red Bull Racing. In 2023, the Dutchman is again going strong and his third title seems to be within reach.
Looking at F1 history, Max Verstappen is by far the most successful F1 driver of Dutch nationality. His father, Jos Verstappen is also a Formula 1 driver and has been on the podium twice.
