After first sharing a picture of himself in red Ferrari overalls with the caption 'First time in red' on Tuesday, Hamilton unveiled his new helmet on Wednesday morning. With the photo, the caption simply states: 'And yellow'. The 40-year-old Briton has opted for a helmet in a classic Ferrari colour: the design is yellow, with red accents.
Lewis Hamilton's helmet designs have evolved significantly throughout his career. Initially, his helmets featured a primarily yellow base with white and blue accents. Over time, he transitioned to predominantly white designs with touches of yellow and red. More recently, he sported a purple-themed helmet before switching to a neon yellow design with purple accents. For the 2025 season, Hamilton has embraced Ferrari's signature style, unveiling a bold yellow helmet with red accents—a fresh look that complements his new car and team identity.
