Norris' 2025 helmet causes storm of mixed reactions among McLaren fans

Lando Norris has unveiled an all-new helmet, which he will use as a staple for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Excluding special designs, this will be Norris' helmet for the majority of the year. It may also be his first championship-winning helmet as he hopes to go one better in the driver's championship over the next 24 races. On social media, the Brit's fans reacted to the new design after it was revealed.
Norris' new helmet stirred up some mixed reactions on social media. After McLaren revealed the helmet, some fans praised the evolution of the four-time Grand Prix winner's now iconic fluorescent design. Others thought the helmet was very similar, commenting, 'Isn't that the same one?'.
There are just a few minor changes in Norris' 2025 lid, including the shape and size of the 'blobs' which line his helmet.
Of course, Norris has more on his mind than a fresh helmet. After fighting Max Verstappen for the majority of the 2024 season, the Brit heads into 2025 with momentum that he hopes will lead him to his first driver's championship.
His papaya team, McLaren, won their first constructors title since 1998 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024. Norris will be hoping to snap McLaren's lengthy wait for a drivers champion, too. Lewis Hamilton was the last in 2008 and will now battle Norris and McLaren from the legendary Ferrari stable in 2025.
