Red Bull is rumoured to have 'power unit issues'.
Next year, Red Bull is set for a great challenge. The Austrians will use a power unit developed in-house in collaboration with Ford after their partnership with Honda comes to an end after the 2025 season. According to the print version of Autosprint, rumours about issues with the power unit are true. McLaren re-signs key expert, first team reveal unveiling date
McLaren has announced that the team have extended Peter Prodromou's contract. The Cypriot, who previously also worked as Adrian Newey's number two, received the title 'Technical Director, Aerodynamics' in March 2023. Under his leadership, the British team completed a great turnaround and ended up winning the constructors' title in 2024.
Williams, who also announced they have a new title sponsor ahead of the 2025 season (the team will be called Atlassian Williams Racing), will present their next car on 14 February at 09:30. Fans can follow the FW47's unveiling via Williams' website and the team's app.
Prost 'not happy' with 'Senna' series
Over the late 1980s and early 1990s, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna had a great rivalry in Formula One. The two drivers won four and three world titles respectively, and two championships were decided by the two making contact on track in 1989 and 1990. The Frenchman shared his thoughts on the Netflix series Senna which was released in 2024. Moreover, he also looked ahead to the 2025 F1 season and talked about not having enough test days anymore in the competition as well.
