During the press conference, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were sitting next to each other and of course, they were talking about a possible crash. Both of them say they are not worried about it at all.

With one race to go and the title rivals on the same amount of points, the tension is palpable. So it was interesting to see Hamilton and Verstappen side by side in the press conference. With the World Cup between them, they were asked how they view the possibility of a crash.

Verstappen not thinking about a crash

''As a driver, you don't think about this kind of thing. You just go to a weekend and try to get the most out of it as a team. And of course, you try to win the race. The media then starts to say things about this, but I don't have much to say about it,'' Verstappen is clear in his words.

The Dutchman is therefore mainly focused on his own performance and Hamilton wants to add little to that. He too is not worried about a possible crash. ''I can't control what happens beyond my control. I can only be concerned with my own performance,'' concludes the seven-time world champion, who with one less victory cannot afford a crash. After all, Verstappen would then be champion.
