Mercedes makes bold statement prior to FIA gala

Mercedes is still of the opinion that the race direction during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix did not act according to the rules, causing Lewis Hamilton to miss out on the world title. Ahead of the gala, the German racing team made a clear statement to the FIA.
On Thursday evening the FIA gala is scheduled where Max Verstappen will be presented with the award for winning the world championship. Prior to that, a traditional photo is scheduled, where the FIA takes pictures of all the cars of different sports classes. According to De Telegraaf Mercedes refuses to send the cars, both those of Formula 1 and Formula E.
It means that the Mercedes of Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will not be found on the 2021 copy. In doing so, Toto Wolff's team hopes to send another clear signal to the FIA that it finds Sunday's situation in Abu Dhabi unacceptable.
Mercedes can take the constructors' championship
The medium reports that it is also possible that Mercedes will not appear at the gala. The German team won the constructors' championship last weekend, but that doesn't seem to be enough for Wolff to be satisfied with the racing year.
