Max Verstappen is growing as a brand on the international market, according to Raymond Vermeulen. According to Verstappen's manager, the number of offers is growing by the day for the Dutchman, but they remain selective.

Fame through F1

Verstappen is only 24 years old, but already a great figure in his sport. After seven seasons in Formula 1, Verstappen has won his first world title, already has twenty victories, thirteen poles and sixty podium finishes. The Dutchman is becoming increasingly well known around the world, as his management is also noticing.

Verstappen is of course under contract with Red Bull Racing, but in addition to his obligations as a driver, he also has some personal contracts. The driver already has a long-term deal with Jumbo, there is a new deal with Viaplay and Carnext.com is also an important sponsor of Verstappen. However, according to Vermeulen, more and more applications are coming in.

Verstappen not an actor

At De Telegraaf Vermeulen explains, however, that Verstappen will not accept every offer. For example, it must be considered whether the sponsor is not in Red Bull's path and Verstappen does not have the ambition to become an actor. The sponsorship deals are part of the deal, but Verstappen is and remains a sportsman who wants to focus primarily on racing.

Vermeulen does understand, however, why the Verstappen-Red Bull combination is so interesting for many parties: ''The team exudes that fighter's mentality. I think many brands want to identify with that. Max and Red Bull are fighters and keep fighting for first place,'' concludes the manager of the Verstappen's.
