The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix got off to an exciting start on Friday afternoon. With pole position for Max Verstappen and second place for Charles Leclerc, Saturday's sprint race promises to be sizzling. But what time is it actually scheduled?
Due to the bad weather, the Formula 1 teams had to deal with no less than five red flags during qualifying on Friday afternoon. It caused the qualifying to be considerably delayed and some drivers to suffer some damage to their cars.
Before the sprint race starts on Saturday, the drivers will first prepare for the second free practice session. This is scheduled at 11:30 and should give the drivers the opportunity to change the last details to improve their performance in the sprint race.
After that, the teams will have a few hours off, after which the drivers will have to appear at the start for the sprint race at 15:30. It is expected that Verstappen and Leclerc will fight together for the victory and thus the first starting spot for Sunday's race.
