Verstappen seems ready for Miami GP: 'Only driven on simulator'
- GPblog.com
The Miami Grand Prix gets underway on Friday night with the first two free practice sessions. Max Verstappen is very curious to see how his RB18 will compare to the competition, he tells us in conversation with Weekend Warm-Up of Formula1.com.
For the first time in Formula 1 history, a GP will take place in Miami. This means that this weekend the teams and drivers will have to deal with an entirely new circuit that they will have to get to know during the free practices.
Verstappen prepared quite a bit behind the scenes for the race weekend but emphasizes that he still doesn't know what to expect in the United States. "I've only driven on a simulator," Verstappen stressed in the interview. "I just want to drive there in real life and see how it feels and how the grip is."
Verstappen enjoys ride with Swamp baby carriage
Although the Dutchman is mentally preparing for the Miami GP, he also has time for other things. For example, he came into action with a Swamp baby carriage, a ride that pleased him very much. Yuki Tsunoda was also on hand to take a ride, which produced some beautiful images.
