Max Verstappen had a tough time at the Miami Grand Prix and that was obvious to him after the race. The Dutchman was very hot in his cockpit and in Red Bull Racing's press release he let us know how much he had lost during the race.
After the race in Miami, the top three were shattered. Carlos Sainz looked the most fit of the three, but Charles Leclerc and Verstappen had sweat dripping from their foreheads and really needed some time to recover. Verstappen said at the press conference that it was very hot during the race and that he had suffered a lot.

This is also evident from his statement in his team's press release. "It was a physically tough race; I think I must have lost around 3kgs," reveals the Dutchman who always has to weigh himself before and after the race. So the fluid loss had a huge impact during this race in sunny Miami.
However, it was all worth it for Verstappen as he won the first-ever Miami Grand Prix. ''It feels amazing to win in Miami, the whole atmosphere this weekend has been incredible and to win in the US is always a nice feeling," concluded the Red Bull driver.
