With some 80,000 tickets sold, the first Miami Grand Prix was completely sold out. A commercial success in other words. In addition to the ticket revenue, there were also visitors to the Paddock Club with many (potential) sponsors. However, according to F1 journalist Adam Cooper, these people were not at all satisfied with the event.

Paddock Club a poor show

Access to the Paddock Club is not cheap. People wanting access to this exclusive part of Formula 1 had to pay $13,000 for it. For that price, you naturally expect the best of the best in terms of service, but this was apparently not the case.

Cooper let it be known on Twitter he heard from several people that it was "a s***" show. According to the British journalist, teams and sponsors were not happy with the quality of service and several potential sponsors and other wealthy people would not want to come back after this bad experience.
