After waiting out the first five races, Ferrari are coming with a major update package in Barcelona. Ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc expresses his confidence in the updates, which he hopes will help his team regain the upper hand in the battle with Red Bull Racing.

"Hopefully they will be good enough to be in front of Red Bull again," Leclerc said during Friday's press conference, broadcast by Sky Sports. He stressed that the performances of both teams have been close since the beginning of the season.

He continued: "Every time they brought updates they got closer and now they are ahead, especially in race pace." The RB18 was already strong on the straight, but Leclerc notes that the team in Miami was also very good in the slow corners.

The Ferrari driver expects to see even more steps forward from this weekend, both at his own team and at Red Bull. "Everything depends on how much we improve the car and how much Red Bull improves when they have something new," said the Monegasque.
