Christian Horner is satisfied with the work Red Bull Racing managed to put in during the first day of the Spanish Grand Prix. Although Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari had a gap of three tenths towards Max Verstappen in both the first and second free practice, Horner sees plenty of chances for a nice result.

Afterwards, the Red Bull Racing team boss appeared before the Sky Sports cameras : ''We have bits we need to tidy up. You have to be in the sweet spot with your set up, tyre deg. The front left tyre gets a pounding here. It's a complex track. It's close together. It's very close, all about who threads the nettle correctly on Saturday for qualifying.''

Horner was not surprised to see Lewis Hamilton and George Russell suddenly back up front in practice. ''I have been saying all year, it will only be a matter of time before they sort it out and it looks like they are getting on top of their issues so they will become another factor in this championship. They had a strong day today'', concludes the Red Bull Racing team boss.
