Sergio Perez finished the Monaco Grand Prix victorious. The Mexican walked shoulder to shoulder with team boss Christian Horner after the race, making a striking statement that was easy to understand.

Indeed, the driver hinted at a longer stay at Red Bull Racing. While the Austrian racing team has kept his future uncertain inrecent months, Perez remarked to Horner, "I probably signed too early."

Perez excited about victory in Monaco

With that, it seems that Perez can be admired at Red Bull even after this season. The driver has been part of the racing team since the beginning of 2021. Where he struggled to catch on in the beginning, he is now succeeding better and better in reaching his level. It provided, among other things, the victory in Monaco.

Perez was logically very satisfied with the race. It was a dream for him to win the Monaco GP one day in his Formula 1 career. Moreover, he did important business for Red Bull in the constructors' championship, as the team is running further ahead of rival Ferrari.
