Mick Schumacher is coming under pressure. His team Haas has already criticised the youngster's crashes. Also in the media, the German is regularly criticised. Sebastian Vettel has noticed it.

Critical

As a countryman, Vettel often talks about Mick Schumacher. Even now the young Schumacher is heavily criticised, the veteran is making himself heard. Vettel understands that the media must be critical. But he tells Bild that when Schumacher does has a good performance, it is okay for the outside world to praise him for it too.

According to Vettel, it is quite understandable that drivers sometimes make mistakes. "At the beginning of the season we all drive on the limit," Vettel believes. "That the car can be destroyed is part of it. I think in such a situation you have to do everything to support the driver so that he feels comfortable. I know that from my own experience."

Rumours

Schumacher has yet to collect a point this season, even though the Haas has the potential to regularly finish in the midfield. There are already rumours that the team is considering trading Schumacher for the likes of Oscar Piastri or Antonio Giovinazzi.
