Weather update Montreal | Saturday wet qualifying and dry race on Sunday
- GPblog.com
The weather is quite changeable in Montreal at the moment. The chance of a wet qualifying session later on Saturday is quite plausible. In fact, the chance of rain is 90%.
Rainy Saturday expected
It looks like Formula 1 can get ready for a wet third free practice and qualifying session on Saturday in Canada. Haas F1 and AlphaTauri are already letting it be known via tweets that the first drops have already fallen and AlphaTauri is even assuming 'wild' weather.
Weather.com reports that the maximum temperature in Montreal will be 15 degrees Celsius with a north-westerly wind of ten to fifteen kilometers per hour. There is a 90% chance of rain. The weather will clear up in the evening and a sunny day is expected over the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Sunday.
