A 1:8 scale model of Verstappen's RB16B now for sale!
- GPblog.com
Almagon Collection has developed a 1:8 scale model of the RB16B with which Max Verstappen won his first world title last year in Abu Dhabi. There are only 99 pieces available for sale, so you need to be quick if you want to get your hands on one. Note: you need to have a big wallet.
The scale model is 69 centimetres long in total and costs more than €9,000. Why so expensive? It took 2,500 hours to fully develop the concept, with another 250 hours to assemble each model. Amalgam Collection had access to CAD data provided directly by Red Bull to design each tiny component.
There are 99 pieces of the Verstappen car available, as well as the RB16B with Sergio Perez's number on it. You can also buy the unique model with the Honda livery of the RB16B that was driven in the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. For that, you will have to dig deeper.

This edition of models, limited to 99 pieces per driver, precisely captures the car that delivered the first ever Dutch Formula 1 World Champion in Verstappen and a first World Drivers' Championship to Red Bull Racing since 2013. [2/3] pic.twitter.com/Eatvboh8hT
