Cake for Verstappen: will Max provide the best present himself this weekend?
- GPblog.com
Max Verstappen is celebrating his 25th birthday. The Dutchman himself can provide the best present ever at his party this weekend, as the Red Bull Racing driver might just take his second world title.
At 25, Verstappen is still among the younger drivers in Formula 1. Yet the reigning world champion has already had quite a while on it in the sport, being the youngest ever to debut in F1 at 17. Since his debut in 2015, things have gone fast for Verstappen, who has since broken record after record.

Verstappen celebrates
After almost eight seasons of F1, the tally currently stands at 31 wins for Verstappen, 17 poles and 1 world title. With 157 Grands Prix behind his name, Verstappen is already an experienced professional and with 73 podiums, he is already eighth on the list of drivers with most podiums. The latest record is probably yet to fall.

Although the chances are slim, Verstappen can still brighten up his birthday with a nice present at the Singapore Grand Prix. If Verstappen wins and the results of Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez are disappointing, the Limburger could be crowned world champion as early as the Marina Bay Street Circuit. However, Verstappen is more likely to take that title in a week's time in Japan.
GPblog wishes Verstappen a happy birthday and many more healthy, happy and successful years to come!
