The winter break does not mean we have to do without Max Verstappen altogether. In fact, there are plenty of (Dutch) documentaries on Viaplay.nl about the racing world and our own Max.

Recently, the Dutchman can be found in the new docu Max's Machine in which he - together with other drivers - tests cars. In the first part of the docu, he takes on Danish former driver John Nielsen, among others.

Verstappen gets into an older version of the beloved Red Bull car - with a V8 engine - while Nielsen is in a Honda NSX. The two will race against each other. Well, one might naturally ask: how is that a fair fight? That is where David Coulthard, who is also taking part in the documentary, has thought of something: the Dane gets to start a lot earlier than the Dutchman. “Are you comfortable coming from behind?” is the question to Verstappen. “I’ve been doing it quite a lot lately, so yeah,” he replies.

Speaking about his car's V8 engine, Verstappen makes another comment, regarding the sound: “Noisy, I like that.”  Max, of course, goes into more detail about the car than just the sound in the documentary. Many technical specifications are covered, and a (time) race between him and Coulthard. So Max' s Machine is highly recommended for Verstappen fans as well as car enthusiasts in general, as it also highlights the technical side.
