Max Verstappen won the the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix that was hosted at the Strip last season. As the Dutchman hopes to secure his fourth F1 title in the Sin City, Ferrari are also coming to win in the United States, as Charles Leclerc hopes to do one better than in 2023.

Leclerc sees challenge with tyre management

Ferrari are heading to Las Vegas with a 36-point gap behind McLaren in the constructors' circuits, and they won two events during the last tripleheader at COTA and then in Mexico City. Leclerc, who earned pole position last year in Las Vegas and finished second, believes they have a shot at performing well in the state of Nevada. "I think on paper it's a track where we should perform well," he told Sky Sports.

However, there is a small 'but': "However, the fact we have improved a lot with tyre management, means on a track where it is so cold, it will be difficult to put the tyres in the right window."

Still, the Monegasque driver is positive. "On paper, it still looks positive. Maybe not as positive as last year but seeing how close everything is, I believe we will have a shot to win it," he concluded.
