After the ruckus originated at the beginning of the year with Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari, with the last race of the season now behind us, Charles Leclerc looks back on the missed opportunities of 2024 and at the upcoming season, when he is due to partner the British champion, with extra motivation.

How will Leclerc face Hamilton's arrival?

The quick Monégasque is no stranger to being teammates with multiple times world champions, given his history alongside Sebastian Vettel, so he looks at Hamilton's arrival at Ferrari not with fear, but with "great motivation".

After the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Leclerc spoke to media present at the paddock, including GPBlog, about the move and his thoughts on it: "Of course, Lewis has achieved so much in the sport and that will be a great motivation."

The driver of the #16 car, however, was still to busy savoring the final moments of his now previous teammate, Carlos Sainz, after their four year tenure racing for the Italian team together: "But right now I'm thinking more about the past year and the years I spent with Carlos. We've had a great relationship. We pushed each other. I really hoped we could end these four years together with a constructors' title. We both gave everything. It wasn't enough. So now the disappointment is obviously here."
