Charles Leclerc has dominated the final practice session ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix topping the leaderboard with a time of 1:41.604, ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.

Leclerc continued his impressive form to top the standings ahead of his teammate in 1:41.604s, as the Scuderia once again proved their superior power. Vettel went off the track at turn one towards the end of the session but recovered and shortly after, set his fastest lap which secured him a place behind his teammate.

Mercedes were unable to replicate their positive form from China, as they finished outside the top three with Valtteri Bottas in P4 and Lewis Hamilton in P5. Hamilton also went off the track just seconds after Vettel but didn’t recover to the same extent.

The Toro Rosso’s continued to impress with Danil Kvyat and Alexander Albon both placing in the top ten with times of 1:43.223s and 1:43.300s respectively. Albon was unable to contest qualifying in China after he crashed out in FP3, but he made no mistake this time around to finish P8.

George Russell managed to get out on track after Friday's disastrous session which saw him drive over a drain cover, ruining the underside of his car. The rookie went on to finish P19 with a time of 1:46.290s behind his teammate Robert Kubica but wasn’t last with Pierre Gasly bringing up the rear.

Qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix gets underway at 2PM.
