Max Verstappens opts for an aggressive tyre choice for Italian Grand Prix
Max Verstappen has opted for an aggressive tyre selection for the Italian Grand Prix. The flying Dutchman will take 10 sets of soft tyres to Italy, the joint highest with Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll matching him.
Verstappen has just two sets of medium tyres available compared to Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc who both have four sets of the medium compound. For the race weekend at Monza, C2 (Hard), C3 (Medium) and C4 (Soft) will be available.
The current Formula 1 world championship leader, Lewis Hamilton, is taking eight soft tyres and three mediums in a more conservative approach.
