Binotto: "New organisation should help in recognising problems"

At Ferrari, it's been rattling for a number of years, with 2020 as the low point. It seems quite logical, but according to team boss Mattias Binotto they have found the solution. He should always have been just a team boss and not also a technical chief.
In previous years it was often about fundamental problems to the Ferrari cars. Ferrari occasionally underperformed. In combination with the problems with the car, organisational defects were often cited as the cause of the disappointing form.
Binotto seems to be able to keep his job now that the organisation has been restructured. His tasks are divided among four people and he is the boss. To Motorsport.com he explains: "This year my role has changed a lot. I've delegated my technical tasks to capable people."
Binotto finally real team boss
The team boss continues: "In the end, the organisational changes were no more than the execution of my actual function. I finally went from technical manager to team boss. I hope that this new organisation will help us recognize problems".
Binotto concludes: "A final aspect now to emphasize is that Ferrari continues to invest in things like a new simulator. The company is busy acquiring resources, time and opportunities so that management can do well".
