Rumours that the relationship between Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari was about to break down are silenced by Mattia Binotto after the Spanish Grand Prix. The team boss of Ferrari does not recognize himself in the coverage of some media.

"I don't recognize that," says Binotto when he is confronted by Sky Italia with the suggestion that tensions have risen considerably lately. "At least not from our side. So I'm very surprised, I don't think that's the case."

Vettel also denies these reports. "For my part, it's no different than normal," says the four-time world champion. At the end of 2020 the German will leave the Ferrari team. He will then be replaced by Carlos Sainz.

Where Vettel will drive next year is still unknown. The Heppenheimer is aiming for a place in Formula 1, but the options seem limited. For now Vettel seems to have the best chance at Racing Point. In that battle he has to deal with the Mexican Sergio Perez.
