Pierre Gasly has confirmed his home in Normandy was burgled over the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. The Frenchman finished ninth at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Worthless people

The AlphaTauri driver shared the news on social media: "Some people are really worthless, disrespectful and despicable," he said as quoted by Motorsport Week. Very annoying for the French driver, because the stolen stuff is valuable.

"I had my house broken into and ransacked in Normandy, stealing BRM watches engraved with my name, a Tag Heuer, jewellery, clothing, glasses and racing helmets," he added. Of course, Gasly's helmet is very recognizable, as is the engraved material.

Furthermore, Gasly has asked to contact him if anyone has any information.
