A ski champion next to Verstappen? "She's crazy, she would do it"

It is one of the biggest questions currently occupying Formula 1 fans, who will be Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing next year? Alexander Albon, Pierre Gasly and Nico Hulkenberg are the names in the conversation, but there could also be someone else.
From alpine skiing to motor racing
The American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn is Olympic champion on the downhill and World Champion on the downhill and super G, but her sports career took an almost completely different turn. As a guest in an episode of In Depth with Graham Bensinger, she also talks about her experiences in motorsport. "I loved it," she said about driving a Formula Renault 3.5 at Spielberg in 2016. "But I had a tendency to go a little too fast in the corners," she continued as quoted Pitpass.com.
Contract with Red Bull?
In the interview she makes a very special revelation, namely that Red Bull offered her a contract. "I couldn't," said Vonn. "They wanted me to commit to three years, and like, you can't get pregnant, you can't do anything. I thought: 'okay, I guess I'm not doing that.”
If Vonn didn't make it in Formula 1 with Red Bull in the end, there was an alternative. "They said: if you don't make it in Formula 1, you can always do Nascar." Vonn's fiancée P.K. Subban said in the same interview that he could see her racing in Formula 1. "She could do that one hundred percent for sure. She's crazy, she would do it, she wouldn't be scared at all."
Formula 1 budgets
In the interview, Vonn also briefly discussed the budgets within Formula 1. "I think probably the salary of one racer is probably the total amount of money that ski racing has for their annual budget. I guess Lewis [Hamilton] makes way more money than all of ski racing."
