Max Verstappen is the clear number one at Red Bull and one of the teams' biggest struggles has been finding a competitive teammate. However, the Dutchman is not concerned by the rumours surrounding Alex Albon's future.

Not Max's problem

Verstappen isn't losing any sleep over his teammate's future. "Well, it's not my problem in the end. I just focus on myself and I'll see what happens next year. It's not up to me," Verstappen admitted.

The Red Bull man shrugged it all off, adding: "No, I don't notice anything else. It makes no sense. for me to talk about it."

Step forward with the RB16

The Red Bull of Verstappen has performed better in the last few races, raising hopes for 2021. But Verstappen admitted he doesn't want to look that far ahead yet. "We will see what happens next year. I think it's much more important for us to just work on this car because we won't change so much next year. It is very important for us to understand where the problems are and try to improve them."

"No, I am not going to go into details. We are just trying to improve everything," concluded the Dutchman at the press conference in Portugal.
