Romain Grosjean has reacted for the first time after his crash in the Bahrain Grand Prix. On Instagram, the Frenchman says that everything is going well for him at the moment and that he is extremely grateful to everyone who came to the rescue after the incident.

On social media, Grosjean said, "Hi everyone. I just wanted to say, I am okay. Well sort of okay. Thank you very much for all of the messages. I wasn't for the halo a few years ago, but I think it's the greatest thing in F1 and without it, I wouldn't have been able to speak to you today."

Grosjean refers to his injuries to his hands in the video. "Thank you to the medical staff. Hopefully I can write you some messages to tell you how its going soon."
