Jaime Alguersuari may be returning to racing. The Spaniard raced for Toro Rosso in the past, but a few years later he retired. However, it is possible that the 30-year-old from Barcelona will now return to the track.

He tells Marca that. In mid-2009 Helmut Marko decided to put him in the car at Red Bull's sister team in place of Sebastien Bourdais, and he ended up driving for two and a half years (until the end of 2011) for the team now known as AlphaTauri. He went on to compete in touring car championships and get into a Formula E car, but in early October 2015, Alguersuari thought enough was enough.

From then on, Alguersuari took up his great passion: making music. He called himself DJ Squire and became relatively successful with it. He also published his own biography about his choices.

Return to motor racing?

Currently, Alguersuari is in training. "I found out that I can do two things very well; racing and making music. I can't give concerts now, so I'm aiming for something in my life. The days pass slowly. I miss the competition. I don't know if I will return, but I don't rule it out. But I have to be one hundred percent ready."
