Deafening silence on Lewis Hamilton's social media platforms

The announcement of the one-year contract between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes on Monday was not surprising, but it was big news. By now almost everyone has said something about it, but Hamilton is yet to make a comment on social media.
Of course, he doesn't have to and his statement in the Mercedes press release is sufficient in principle, but it is striking for someone who is so involved with social media and has by far the most followers of all F1 drivers. On Twitter, therefore, there are already some insinuations.
Still not a single word on social media from Lewis Hamilton about his one-season contract extension with Mercedes. Make of that what you will...

Of course, it is pure speculation to go into this and maybe Hamilton is sleeping off his hangover after celebrating his contract extension, but many followers feel that Hamilton is not entirely happy with the outcome of these negotiations.
Wolff gets the best out of the negotiations
If we are to believe the rumours about his demands, he has not got his two biggest wishes: a pay rise and a certain say in the team's policy. The latter, according to Toto Wolff, has never been discussed.
The reality is that Hamilton's negotiating position for 2022 is not that strong. With three expiring contracts (Hamilton, Bottas and Russell) and a possible escape clause for Verstappen, Toto Wolff has all the cards in his hands. As the most successful F1 driver of all time, who is also performing at the top of his game, it is not so strange to be a little annoyed about this.
