F1's first driver reacts to sprint races: "I don't mind this idea"

Antonio Giovinazzi would certainly not mind Formula 1 experimenting with sprint racing in 2021. Not everyone seemed enthusiastic last year, but after Thursday's meeting there seem to be starting points. Tests might be held in Canada, Monza and Brazil.
"I had a similar experience in Formula 2, but it was different. I don't mind this idea", Giovinazzi is quoted as saying by Sky Sport 24. The Italian believes it is a good development that the pinnacle of motorsport wants to continue to innovate.
Details will be discussed at the next meeting between the FIA, the FOM and the Formula One teams. A decision must then be made before the start of the year in Bahrain. "F1 has always wanted to try new things and we'll see what happens. It would be nice to have two races at Monza, that's for sure."
Alfa Romeo improves the front end
Alfa Romeo's 2021 car will be named C41. Last year, the Italian racing team finished eighth in the Constructors' Championship with eight points. Giovinazzi is hoping for more. "I repeat, the livery is very nice, but the particularity will be in the front and we hope it can bring us something more in terms of tenths. There is the unknown power unit, we hope that here too it will be better and allow us to have more fun," he concludes.
