Lawrence Stroll has his own circuit in Canada, but the billionaire wants to get rid of it. The team owner of Aston Martin has put Mont-Tremblant up for sale, according to Guide de l'Auto. According to reports, the circuit should fetch at least 8.5 million dollars.
The 4.2-kilometer-long circuit is located about 125 kilometers northwest of Montreal and has also hosted Formula 1 twice, in 1968 and 1970.
Bids can be placed on the track until April 15. Even if the track is sold, it is not certain that the track will survive. It is said that there are also parties interested in building houses on the spot where the track is located now.
Formula 1 has been traveling to Montreal for the Grand Prix for years. It is still unclear whether the weekend in 2021 can go ahead.
