Verstappen's reliability issue exposes rear-end of RB16B
Max Verstappen stopped out on the track during the early stages of Friday's second free practice session in Imola. With the marshalls quickly recovering the car, photographers were granted the perfect opportunity to capture the rear-end of the RB16B.
A part kept in secret
During the Red Bull Racing's car launch, shakedown run at Silverstone and pre-season testing, the team have been very keen to keep the rear-end out of view. But detailed photos have now been taken of Verstappen's car after he broke down on the track.
Mercedes, and many other teams, will be taking a keen look at these photos to see if they can find any beneficial parts for their cars.
Red Bull won't be too happy about those images we've got.... #AMuS pic.twitter.com/e2ICbXsPGU
