Verstappen frustrated: "Taken out again by a Mercedes..."

Max Verstappen was forced to adjust his goal of winning the Hungarian Grand Prix early on in the race after badly damaging his car. The Dutchman collided with Lando Norris early in the race who in turn was hit by Valtteri Bottas. The Red Bull Racing driver is not happy with Bottas.
"Taken out again by a Mercedes..." Verstappen says in front of the Sky Sports camera. "This is not what you want. I missed the whole side of my car, the floor was damaged as well. It was almost impossible to drive, to be honest. I did my best and scored one point so at least it's something, but not what we want."
Damage to RB16B too great
The red flag gave Red Bull time to carry out some repair work on Verstappen's RB16B, but a floor cannot be tinkered with. "This moment is just disappointing. When we go again after the summer break, I will be back and will do my best. I hope my car will be competitive, we'll see. It's a lot of weird moments that cost us hefty points."
In any case, Verstappen's wide lead in the World Championship has disappeared like snow in the sun. After 11 Grand Prix in 2021, the gap to rival Hamilton is six points.
